INDEX

The Famous Yellow Flyer - Front & Back

Number of Signatures (counted as of date below)- 728

This section contains letters & petitions sent to CBS Executive offices during the run of The Wizard in an effort to save the series from cancellation. A threat The Wizard was never free from. The letters transcribed here have been saved all these years by Michael Berk. Even though we cannot include every single letter & petition sent in, a running tally will be kept as the ones available are added to the site. Since many people sent in one letter representing a family, school class or other groups, The MGT. will keep count of the number of signatures rather than the number of letters.

This section is dedicated to Michael Berk & Douglas Schwartz whose never ending dedication to The Wizard should be an inspiration to all the fans who think that release of the show to video or rebroadcast on television anywhere around the world is impossible & there is nothing they can do about it.

This section is also dedicated to all the fans who took the time to speak up in support of The Wizard. May their words, thoughts & sentiments finally be acknowledged & become an inspiration to everyone today.

Special care has been taken to edit out any very personal information or messages not meant for public viewing. Any trailing dots within a message on subsequent pages were included by the letter writer.

~"The program takes science & presents it as a part of living. Twenty years ago 'MR. Wizard' showed me on TV how to get a soft boiled egg to suck itself into a glass bottle with a narrow neck. . . . 'THE Wizard' . . . is the only one who could possibly show me WHY I would want a soft boiled egg to suck itself into a glass bottle." - Steve K., Dayton, Ohio, USA (adult & father) to the CBS Network - March, 1987 ~
