To The Wizard

I love you Wizard. Come back on Tuesday. I watch you on Thursday, but I have dance till 7:45. I miss you when they take you off. I don't like that.

Agatha H., age unknown

She is very disappointed when they preempt you for other things. she enjoys watching you everytime you are on.

To David

Hi. I think your show is outstanding. I don't know what it is about you but you're a person that understands others. You should be a psychiatrist. You must be pretty busy with your job, especially with all those toys you must test out. Now you can't say your job is boring.

Please don't let Wizard end up like Airwolf. That was my favorite program but now Wizard is. One of your commercials have a band in it. Can you tell me the name of the band?

Thank you for your time.

To Wizard

I think the WIZARD is a terrific show! I like the adventures that the WIZARD goes on, I like his toys, & the humor that the WIZARD has. I also like his inventions. I like all the episodes so far & I hope it will stay on the air. I would very much like to have some WIZARD posters like the ones Corey had in his room in the episode "Daydream Believer". Would you please send me some?

To David,

I hope that "The Wizard" will get picked up for another season. Maybe even for many more years. I really hope so. I have written to the people who were on a list of people to write to to let them know I want them to keep "The Wizard on the air. It was a list that had been sent to me. I hope that the letters I wrote to them will help. I think that it's one of the best shows there is that are on. Actually it's one of the best shows, I think, period. Anyway, if the show is canceled then everyone will be deprived of continuing to be able to see a great actor, you, on a great show, "The Wizard". May God bless you always.

With love. Your fan always,

To Douglas Schwartz,

As the Executive Producer I would like to tell you that I think that you & Mr. Berk are doing one hell of a job on the Wizard. With one exception. As for me I would like to see a few things happen if possible.

1) I would like to see where the other four & a half years went of the six years went for Mr. McKay.

2) The other is will Simon ever fall in love or along that line.

3) The accident where or why Simon dropped out for six years.

The Wizard is so impressing to see each & every week.

For one nobody is jumping from bed to bed there is no foul language & not much violence. It would be a shame to take The Wizard off the air because of the ratings. I for one would like to help in any way that I can.

It would be even better I wish if I could meet David Rappaport or see how the show is made.

I hope that the show will have a very long run on T.V. I will keep on looking at the Wizard each & every week.

To Guys,

I heard that they wanted to take the wizard off the air. Well I'll do my part to help. My favorite show was with the robot H.E.N.R.Y. I am very interested in robotics.

To David,

I was very sorry to hear that CBS has considered canceling your show. You have put so much caring, warmth & feeling into "THE WIZARD".

Please do not feel that we here in America have forgotten you. We invited you here, & you gave us a part of you & no one can take that away. you have shown compassion & made us realize there was so much more to life.

You have reached the hearts of many here in America & now we consider you our friend. So my new friend, please follow your own advice & "don't give up", we are behind you.

With warm regards & friendship,

Margie O., age unknown, High Springs, Florida, USA - March 15, 1987

An excellent show. The topics are very informative to young children & school age ones, too.

Thanks.

To Whom It May Concern at BSR Productions,

I recently (within the past 2 months) viewed a broadcast of The Wizard on CBS in which the song with the theme Heart of a Dancer was featured. I was deeply moved by it & would like to know if it is available either as a single or on album or cassette.

I wrote to my local CBS station who fowarded my letter to CBS Broadcast Group in New York. They in turn referred me to you.

Thank you for your time.
